The Cross Group were an English rock band formed in 1987 by Queen drummer Roger Taylor. They released three studio albums before disbanding in 1993. Roger Taylor fronted the band and played rhythm guitar instead of drums. His solo debut album was mostly recorded by himself before he recruited other members to the band. The album’s earliest songs incorporated dance influences similar to those in Queen’s 1982 album Hot Space. Subsequent albums dropped these influences.

Positive intergroup attitudes are associated with better social integration than disapproval, making them more likely to last. This is not to say that cross-group friendships don’t exist, but they can be more stable when positive feelings are associated with the outgroup. To maintain the benefits of these relationships, cross-group friendships must be stable and last. There are several factors that influence the stability of cross-group friendships. Let’s explore each of these in turn.
