DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) is a platform that allows publishers to sell their ad inventory at higher prices

DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) is a platform that allows publishers to sell ad inventory at higher prices. It enables publishers to organize their ad inventory, sell ads, and schedule delivery. The platform is also designed to maximize traffic while competing for higher prices. Because the ads on DFP are sponsored by big brands, they often pay a lot more than AdSense ads.

It works with AdSense

You can make money by placing advertisements on your website and allowing others to click on them. You must sign up for the AdSense program, and abide by the policies and terms of the program. AdSense is a revenue-sharing program that works by displaying relevant ads on your website based on your content, your visitors’ search history, and your Quality Score. Once you have signed up, you can place the code on your website. It must be placed in the head tag of your populated pages. Initially, you cannot place the code on your test pages; you should put it on your home page. You can then add it to every page.

It works with Ad Exchange

Using ad exchanges gives advertisers and marketers the ability to reach a wide variety of potential audiences. This process is automated and takes only fractions of a second, giving advertisers and marketers total control over the bidding process. They can also retarget ads across multiple ad exchanges, calibrate the frequency of their ads, and blacklist specific audiences. There are many benefits to ad exchanges. Let’s explore a few of them.

It works with Video Ad Serving Template (VAST)

What is VAST? The Video Ad Serving Template is a general specification developed by the Interactive Advertising Bureau that sets the standard for communication requirements between video players and ad servers. A VAST is a data structure declared using XML that tells video players where to find ads, how long they should display, which ads should be played and whether or not the viewer should skip over the ads. Video players receive a VAST request from the ad server, which sends a response to the player in a simple XML format.

It is free to use

While DFP is free to use, publishers should be aware that it has a complex interface and is not for everyone. For example, the DFP system does not allow publishers to use artificial means to inflate impressions, conversions, and clicks. This makes it important for publishers to read the policies before starting to use the program, and to avoid having their account suspended as a result. Here are some things to keep in mind before getting started with DFP:
